Really nice article. Very evocative. I wonder if you ever saw that film &quot;Night Tide&quot; (61?) with Dennis Hopper? Filmed in Venice of the early Sixties when it still had the original architecture and housing that you describe. In the film there&#039;s this very cool sort of underground beatnik jazz bar where Hopper goes in and sees a mysterious woman. Do you remember that bar or know anything about it?
