Underground Diaries, Part 24
The Venice Pits, now known as the Venice Art Walls, are a point of contention in my neighborhood. They seemed like an apt metaphor for the tension between graff writers and taggers, and a general public that doesn’t much care that there can be a difference between the two. This video looks at local issues involving graffiti that could be taking place anywhere. Or anywhere that provides young people an outlet for their art. Okay, a lot of it isn’t all that artful. I’m still pro public graff walls.
(Anyone who takes my faux flow accompanying the vid for a serious attempt at rap needs to check their valves.)

I belive there should be more walls cause thier is alot of talent out there , I’m a hip-Hop head wich means , I breakdance , scratch , resite poems , and do graffity ; so I take this personaly . When some snot nose punk posser that just learned how to wipe is ass puts some gang affilated tag and he stands back like he just bombed the 16Chapel . Before my morning workout I take a dump , I think of chomps like the one just described ; cause that’s all they’re good for causeing a bowl movement.
Peace out stay real
