Dogtown Ink Misclaimer
Dogtown Ink has a tri-pronged yet singular focus:
A) Disseminating actual news that’s actually relevant to actual human beings with the same unstinting journalistic rigor as the late, great Weekly World News;
2) Creating, with users, a credible indie guide to Venice and the Ocean Park section of Santa Monica, CA (much of the area, near the disappeared Pacific Ocean Park, once known as Dogtown);
III) Covering beach and street culture like a bad toupé…and counter culture and subculture, kustom kulture, Japan cool, outsider art, SoCal fashion and all the ink we can find…
The site is in its infancy.
Spank it. Or better yet, return often to watch it mutate and grow.

We add newness daily (unless you count days off). That may merely be laying pipe at times, but you have our personal commitment to put the “sexy” back in laying pipe. And days off.

Seriously, though, I’ve put the site together myself. I started with an excellent theme (Blog Times) created by the talented and prolific designer miloIIIIVII, and have gone wildly astray. I’ve totally mucked it up, despite Milo’s admonitions to the contrary (and her generous help).
All this to say, I will be grateful for advice and consultation from pretty much anyone—excluding anyone associated with our country’s current administration—so reach out and touch me.
