Bondi BBQ
The only place in Venice to get authentic Australian barbeque as far as I know. Casual, picnic table atmosphere. Order at the counter then sit down and go crazy. They even have veggie burgers, though that’s not what this place is all about.

Bravo Pizza
The full Dogtown Ink endorsement for this place. Or actually, for their pizza. Deliveries take a while, but patience is rewarded. I like the one with artichoke hearts and black olives—whole black olives.

Arty little local breakfast and lunch spot. Great food, low-key environment. Sit inside with regularly changing art or outside on the porch. Brick House also does catering really good home cooking.
